 This DA40 is powered by the 180HP Lycoming IO-360 allowing it to out perform the more common diesel variant, whilst having lower overhaul costs on the engine. 

This example is in great condition having only been used privately with low engine and airframe hours making it the perfect tourer for a private individual or hour building. While the fuel burn is slightly higher than the diesel variant, the more simple maintenance and performance make up for it with operations on and off unimproved strips a real possibility.
